The Registry

Today we went to Target to begin to register for our wedding. Things started out well, we went to the kitchen section and began to zap this and that, even a deep frier after Ryan begged for it. It might be fun. Anyway, things were going really well until we left the kitchen section to go elsewhere and that's when it happened. The world started to swirl around me. SO MUCH STUFF! What do we NEED, and what do we just WANT? What color is going to be the theme in our living room? What is the theme in our bathroom? I love red, but the whole house in red might be a bit much. Thank goodness for in-store demo furniture. I finally sat down, and then it happened. Ryan came over, put his arm around me and said, "hey, looks like you'd like to go home and lay down. We can finish this later if you want." He's the best. I didn't need to tell him that I just got overwhelmed and didn't know what else we needed/wanted/should register for. I didn't need to explain the swirling around/nauseous feeling going on. All I did was sit down and Ryan took care of me. He handed in our scan gun, bought me some sparkling water and we headed back to my apartment. We turned on the game, and just chilled. I'm so lucky that I get to marry him. I can't wait until February. :)

Thinking a black background, the main page being white, the background on it a light pink.
The inserts: 1) Response card, 2) Direction card 3) Accomodations 4)? Things to do . Colors of those cards Celadon ( light green), Desert Coral (light peach), Periwinkle (light blue) and Banana (light yellow). Wording on the inserts is not very important to me. I'm up for suggestions on the invite too. Just let me know. I would prefer to be able to assemble these instead of purchasing them, because I think that it'll be cheaper. Also, I don't need all the inserts. Accomodations and things to do can be on the same card. Or Things to do can be dropped and directions/accomodations can be on the same card. works for me. The website http://www.renaissancewritings.com/makeyourown/envelopmentsgallery2.html has some great pictures.
